Looking for regular “follow links”  to your site? This site is running Top Commenter, Keyword Luv and Comment Luv and will therefore reward those who leave quality comments with backlinks to their sites.

However, I will delete  low quality comments (like “nice site”).

Here’s how it works:

Top Commentator, a WP plug-in lets a blogger know who the most active commentators are on her blog and optionally display the names as links in the sidebar—which by the way shows up on every blog page. This lets top commentators get back links to their sites, and also gets visitors to comment on the blog, which in turn benefits the blogger. It is a win-win situation.

KeywordLuv is a WP plug-in that allows commenters to input both their name and their desired keywords, which can then be linked back to their blog instead of using their name as the back link as was done in the past.

When the commenter enters the anchor text in this format:

Fred@FishingKayaks

KeywordLuv uses the @whatever as the anchor text of the link.

The commentor’s signature appears as:

Fred from FishingKayaks  says:

Comment Luv, also a WP plug-in actually visits the site of the commenter while they make their comment and retrieves a selection of the last posts, tweets or digg submissions that they then chose one from to include one at the bottom of their comment when they click submit.

These plug-ins promote commenting on blogs while increasing relevant back links and furthering the blogging conversation.
